Early childhood education and development is one of the best investments that can be made, with high returns for every child and, in the case of iLearnabout, our own planet.

Based on the impact of e-learning and environmental education initiatives that already exist across the African continent, we know that utilising technology to effectively convey exciting topics is significantly more impactful than traditional ‘chalk and talk’ methods.

When you educate one person you can change a life, when you educate many you can change the world.
— Shai Reshef

iAfrica and the iLearnabout team have a proven track-record in delivering education and livelihood projects in Africa with minimal overheads. We channel a very high percentage of funding into impactful projects, rather than overheads. The funds now required are surprisingly small, give big results and represent excellent value for money!

Following a well tested pilot programme, roll out of iLearnabout to schools in Kenya and Zambia has proved very successful. Such is the demand for our environmental conservation materials, we are now aiming to raise funding to 'fast-track' development and supply iLearnabout to as many schools and NGOs in more regions as soon as we can. Please help us achieve this.

African schools will always be bottom of the class unless help is given by the private sector.

iLearnabout is an extremely cost-effective sustainable solution that is needed now more than ever.

Following the impact of COVID-19, many tourism companies and NGOs who implement their own conservation projects are fighting for survival. Those that do survive are having to prioritise short-term activities such as law-enforcement or reforestation. Sadly, environmental education projects are falling to the bottom of a long list. Government funding is being stretched even further, resulting in even poorer educational support.

This is an innovative and potentially ‘game changing’ project.

Our development work and pilot costs so far have been generously supported by the iAfrica Foundation, Mwabu, Timbuktu Travel, The Safari Awards, Elephant Charge and ArcEarth.
