The Elephant Charge challenge

On 26th September, iLearnabout Regional Consultant, Francesca Cooke took part in the annual Elephant Charge with team Hot Clutch! The Elephant Charge is an annual event which challenges teams of cars and motorbikes to complete a gruelling course through the Zambian bush. The event is held to raise funds for conservation and in the thirteen years since it began, the event has raised over $1,176,000 for organisations working across Zambia. iLearnabout received funding from the 2019 event which went towards initial pilot testing costs.

The 2020 event was a huge success, with 19/23 teams completing the course and approximately $150,000 raised for conservation projects, funds that are greatly needed in this difficult year! A huge thanks to the organisers.
