Pilot study confirms the feasibility and need for iLearnabout

Key partners conducted a pilot using a range of scenarios in urban and rural communities and teaching centres, different age groups and teacher training options. The e-learning content was well received by teachers and children, with 72% of those tested showing a knowledge gain.

All partners have expressed an immediate need for the full range of topics with the intention of using the resources as quickly as possible. In line with the findings and demand, another topic pack on Climate Change has been developed and a third on Wildlife Conservation is planned. The intention is to progress and expand the roll out of resources to any school or organisation free of charge. Read the report >

Our thanks to Wildlife Clubs of Kenya, Elsa Conservation Trust, Africa Network for Animal Welfare and all the teachers and schools involved.
