New Forests topic now available for use

A new topic, Forests, has been added to the iLearnabout range of freely available conservation teaching materials. Comprising three modules—Forests are Important, Disappearing Forests, and Protect our Forests—key areas covered include deforestation, regrowth, and the consequent effects on climate change. Practical challenges such as alternative fuels and trees on farms, along with a forest guide, explore the significance of forests for people, climate, and wildlife.

iLearnabout is a free e-learning resource focusing on environmental conservation, available to any African school or organisation. There are now six topics available: Biodiversity, Climate Change, Soil, Wildlife Conservation, Water and Livelihoods, and Forests.
